What should I wear to the event?

The event will be cocktail attire: it’s a semi-formal look or outfit that will take you from day to night, bridging the gap between casual daywear and formal evening attire. No fashion rules apply, so just dress up and enjoy a night out!

What time does the event start?

The event begins with appetizers at 6:00 p.m. On arrival, please check in at the registration desk.  Coat check will be nearby.

What type of items will be offered in the Live Auction?

The Live Auction will feature larger ticket items such as a UW Huskies football game day package with pre-game tailgating aboard a yacht, a shopping spree and personal styling package, a San Diego getaway package, a stay at a ski lodge home in Big Sky, MT, etc. The Live Auction list will be emailed out to all registered attendees the week prior to the event so you can preview the Live Auction items, and talk with any friends you are planning to collaborate-bid with. We will also have this list available here on our website the week prior to the event.

What is collaborative bidding?

Some items in the Live Auction will go for a larger amount and are intended to be split amongst friends. We encourage you to speak with your friends about your bidding strategy and select a primary bidder to raise their paddle for the group.

I can’t go to the auction but am interested in an item. Can I bid from a distance?

Yes! We are happy to do the bidding for you in your absence. If you are interested in this feature please contact us here and we will talk with you about what item(s) you are interested in and the price limit you are willing to spend for that item(s).

What forms of payment are accepted for my event ticket, merchandise purchases, and the Fund-An-Item?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) on our event website to purchase tickets, and also at the event for the live auction, wine pull and Fund-An-Item. If you wish to pay via check, please contact Amanda to make those arrangements.

What are Golden Tickets?

Golden Tickets cost $100 each and offer you a 1-in-100 chance to win any Live Auction item of your choice at the event. Winner must be present to win. There are only 100 tickets available and when they are gone there will be no more opportunity to purchase, so don’t wait to purchase! We will sell any available Golden Tickets at the event.

Will we receive a special rate if we stay overnight at The Clearwater Casino Resort?

Yes! To make your reservation at the special rate please call the resort at (360)598-8700 and mention the Summer In The USA auction. Space is limited so it is recommended to make your reservations before February 10th.
